The Shimadzu UV-3600 UV-Vis-NIR Spectrophotometer is a high sensitivity, high resolution, and low low stray light optical spectrometer that operates over the UV to Near InfraRed wavelength spectrum.  It is designed for the measurement of liquid or solid samples..
Applications
  • Optical spectrum measurements (absorbance, transmittance, reflectance, or energy readings) over a wavelength range of 185nm - 3300nm
  • Photometric analysis to determine concentration of a substance in a sample
  • Kinetics analysis to observe time dependent changes in optical properties
Features
  • High sensitivity 3 detector system (PMT for UV and visible range, InGaAs and PbS for Near Infrared range)
  •  High resolution, wide measurement range and ultra low stray light, using a high performance double monochromator
  • Temperature controlled 8 cell micro cell accessory (7-80 degrees C).  Other accessories can be added
  • UVProbe software package
Specifications
  • Wavelength range: 185nm - 3300nm
  • Spectral bandwidth: 8 steps in UV/Vis region and 10 steps in near-infrared
  • Resolution: 0.1nm
  • Sampling Pitch:.01-5nm
  • Wavelength Accuracy: UV/Vis +/- 0.2nm, NIR +/- 0.8nm
  • Wavelength Repeatability: UV/Vis +/- 0.08nm, NIR +/- 0.32nm
